Camp Agape offers small group fun, experiences with cabin groups of 6-8 campers per counselor.

In Prime Camp, your camper will love the summer camp life. With their own cabin group led by one of our trained young adult counselors, your camper will enjoy games, crafts, hiking, swimming, and discovering nature. And all this happens in a caring community that teaches the value of working together, empathy, and spirituality.

7th - 9th grades
Classic: 7th - 9th grades
Is your camper ready to take the next step? Classic is where they want to be this summer. They’ll get all of the great outdoor and spiritual activities that our Prime campers enjoy, with an extra level of challenge added to the mix. Led by one of our great young adult counselors, your camper and their cabin will get to choose from experiences like our zip-line, archery, camping out, and lots more next-level fun!
Young Folks
2nd - 4th grades
Young Folks: 2nd - 4th grades
“When do I get to go to camp?” If you are hearing this from your 2nd to 4th grader, Young Folks at Camp Agapé is the 3-day and 2-night experience they are asking for. If they are seasoned experts or this is their first time away from home overnight, our skilled counselors are ready to lead them through their first camp experience. Games, fun outdoors, sharing stories about Jesus, and hitting a major early milestone in their life; Young Folks is the place to be!
Grand Camp
All ages!
Grand Camp is back!!
Grow in faith, have fun together, and build relationships!
Camp provides trained staff, activities, campfires, canoeing, archery, Bible study, worship, and FUN in a safe Christian environment. Grandparent & child groups (max 5 per group) will be housed in one of our eight motel-style rooms. Email agape@agapekurebeach.org or call 919.552.9421 for pricing.
Program will run from 4:30 pm Wednesday to 1:30 pm Friday. For grandchildren of all ages.
Nature Camp
5th - 8th grades
Nature Camp: 5th - 8th grades
Nature is awesome! If your camper is ready to explore creation, get up close with some bugs, and discover all that’s growing across our 640 acres then this experience is for them. Your camper will get so many of the experiences you expect at camp, with a special focus on God’s good creation and how we care for it. Get ready to get a little muddy and discover the beauty of nature!
Night Owls
7th - 13th grades
Night Owls: 7th - 13th grades
Love camp but want to turn things a little upside down? Night Owls, for campers going into grade 7 through grade 13, turns day into night as we stay up later and later each night, enjoying camp life in the dark. Hiking, ziplining, worship, and camp games are all done in the dark of night. You’ll leave this camp experience ready to be a light!
High School
10th - 13th grades
High School: 10th - 13th grades
Are you ready to have a blast with your camp buddies? High School Week is where the party's at! Brace yourself for ziplining, corcl-ing, epic worship sessions, s'mores by the campfire, and showing off your archery skills. Whether you're a newbie or a camp champ, this adventure-packed program will take your summer to the next level!
Staff In Training (SITs)
11th - 13th grades
SIT Leaders: 11th - 13th grades
Camp is a place where you discover so much about yourself. Take it to the next level with SIT Leaders. Join us for a week of camp, where you will practice leadership skills with other campers, and then return later in the summer to work on staff for a week. All applicants must interview with an Agapé program director as part of registration.

Whether this is your first experience at camp, or you’ve been coming for years, this brand new program will throw some excitement into your summer.

Confirmation Camp

Confirmation Camp: 7th - 9th grade
Learn about and claim your life of faith while experiencing God in the beautiful outdoors of creation. Enjoy all the fun that comes with a week of camp. Our Confirmation Camp program is for young people who are going through confirmation with their congregation. Connect with your pastor or Christian Ed director to learn if Confirmation Camp at Agapé is right for your camper.
Do you have Health Care skills or know someone who loves to work with kids and care for them? We are looking for health care providers to volunteer and help us provide excellence in health care this summer. Sessions are Sunday afternoon to Friday afternoon with housing in our Bolick Health Center. Weeks are filling so call today!
